I have a strange fascination with this video from PBS. \u00a0It features Bob Ross, and is an autotune remix that features various clips all sown together to make a song. \u00a0Long story short, it is pretty freakin’ sweet.<\/p>\n
It has a catchy tune, is fun to watch, and it just makes me smile. \u00a0Which is a big deal…for me. \u00a0My favorite part however is the timeless truth that was captured (perhaps inadvertently) in the remix. \u00a0During the chorus Bob says the following…”This is your world, you’re the creator, find freedom in this canvas.”<\/p>\n
Clearly Bob was speaking to the television audience, but when I sing along, that line takes on a different meaning.<\/p>\n
God, this is YOUR world, You are the creator, find freedom in this canvas.<\/p>\n
That is what my heart wants so desperately to say. \u00a0That is what I want to be true in my life.<\/p>\n
Ephesians 2:10 NLT\u00a0\u00a0“For we are God\u2019s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”<\/p>\n
God wants to create a masterpiece in me. \u00a0I pray that he finds freedom on the canvas of my life to create the desire of HIS heart in me.<\/p>\n
Forgive me Father for my sins, and create in me a new heart, one ready for the stroke of your brush.<\/p>\n
