It has been a while since I’ve written a new post, so I know it is long past overdue. It has been 43 nights as you can see. Last year we had our entire goal raised by night 40. This year, we are not even close to our first house, let alone a second house.<\/p>\n
We find ourselves asking why…why are we so far away. More people know about it this year, we have a website you can donate at, T-shirts, wristbands, and we have even been on the news! We have done everything in our human abilities to reach our goal.<\/p>\n
So why? Why the lack of success?<\/p>\n
Has God abandoned us?<\/p>\n
Did we miss God’s will?<\/p>\n
Or, is He about to do something that we wouldn’t understand, even if He told us about it?<\/p>\n
I believe that God wants to restore His will here on earth, just as it is in Heaven, and that He will do so through his people who are obedient to him.<\/p>\n
Where is your place in God’s kingdom? Are you ready to do his will?<\/p>\n
Come Holy Spirit, and show us your will. Open our ears and our eyes, so that we might understand. Prepare our hearts for you to show up miraculously, and may the glory be yours. Amen…<\/p>\n
